DNF = did not finish (so I used the NASCAR term. It seemed like a good idea at the time.)
Best thing I read this year -- I'd say it's a toss up between Anansi Boys and all the volumes of Samurai Executioner.
Worst thing I read this year -- Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. And if that doesn't count since I didn't finish it, The Last Juror was pretty rotten as well.
Looking forward to getting through the massive stack I have waiting that includes Bob Dylan's Chronicles vol one, a book of Native American tales, Stephen King's Wolves of the Calla, Ursula Le Guin's classic The Left Hand of Darkness and many, many, many more.
Happy reading in 2006!
